Oil / Oil and Cold Wax / Pastel
My art is a response to the world around me. It can be a response to something I see while driving, a photo taken of a historic building or the memory sketched on a trip to Scotland. I may respond to a flower, a cliff view of the ocean, or the marsh from a boardwalk. I may even be inspired by a found object in an antique store or in the woods. I express that response in either oil paints, oil and cold wax or pastel in styles ranging from realistic to abstract.
